Welcome to the British Women’s Group in Bangkok. Known as the 'BWG' we have been providing a network for expatriate women for 40 years in Bangkok and our group has something for everyone. Whether you want to join in fun activities and meet other ladies in Bangkok or become involved in the numerous welfare causes we support then this is the group for you.

If you are not already a member, by joing the British Women's Group you will have the opportunity to attend the various monthly events we organise.   you can take part in various activities such as bowling, golf, tennis, mahjong, dancing or join our bookclub. If you are a night owl, join us on our fun girls night out where we explore Bangkok nightlife. These activities and more are listed on our website events page and in the monthly calendar. The BWG has lots of events and activities happening in March.  If you are new to Bangkok or the BWG please take a look at our Monthly Activities, we have plenty of activities ranging from Mah-Jong to Golf.  There is something for everyone so if you are interested in any of the activities or would like some more information then please email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We are holding our annual AGM in March where member's vote in the new BWG Committee, the AGM will be held during this month's lunch on the 18th March, for full details please login to the members section of the website.

Coffee is on the 11th March and will be held at a local spa where we can sample some of their treatments.

This months activity is a visit to Gallothai the Belgium chocolate factory, where we will have a tour of the factory, lunch and a chance to purchase some delicious chocolate!

We also have a day of racing which has been organised by our special events team.  Following on from last years successful 'Day at the Races' we will be hosting another day the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, where you can watch the racing from a private air conditioned room withing the Committee House.

    The BWG Welfare team have organised a visit to Lat Krabang Orphanage, where we will have the opportunity to see first hand the work being done to support the children with special needs and HIV at the orphanage.
