British Women's Group Bangkok

Numbers are restricted and Book Club is open to BWG members only. 
Each member proposes two book titles which are put into a hat. The books are picked randomly three months in advance. This gives us time to purchase the books, here or back home. We make every effort to keep them to titles available in Bangkok.
The meetings are informal and fun. Should any one not be able to come they can always e mail me their review. We read widely, and have already covered some interesting topics and had some very lively debates.
When the opportunity arises we arrange guest speakers. Local author Malcolm Pryce was one such guest. Other authors, either resident here or visiting, are welcome to get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

Our book for June is Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. There will be no book club in July. In August we will meet to discuss The Virgin Blue by Tracy Chevalier and September's meeting will be Pot Luck.
